UPDATE 8/29/2007 2:27PM Pacific Time

Thank you to everybody who emailed us the requested information. We are currently in contact with our Internet Providers regarding the reports we received and this information has been forwarded on to them. In the meantime, please feel free to post your trace routes to both the IP's for the realm you are experiencing issues with. Instructions to do this can be found in my original post below. Please DO NOT post your Public IP Address, just the trace route results. Once I receive further updates, I will be sure to let you all know. Thank you for everybody's patience in this matter.

________________________________________________________________________________

For players in Brazil who are experiencing high latency issues on the realms listed below, please email the following information to forumtech@blizzard.com and be sure enter "Brazil - High Latency Issues" in the subject line of the email. This information will be forwarded on to your local Internet Providers to address and resolve this issue. The information we will need is:

Public IP Address:
Trace Routes:
Realm Names:

To gather your Public IP Address, please visit (http://www.blizzard.com/support/myip/) and copy/paste this into the email you send in. Please also DO NOT post your Public IP Address here on the forums.

We'll also need you to run a trace route to both of the IPs for each realm listed below and include the results in the email. Also be sure to include the name of the realm you are having issues with in the email.

Steps to run the Trace Route command (Windows XP/2000):

1) Click Start and then Run
2) Type "command" and press Enter
3) In the command window, type 'tracert xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx > C:\tracert.txt' (without the quotes) and press the Enter key.

Steps to run the Trace Route command (Windows Vista):

1) Click Start and in the "Start Search" field type "command" or "cmd"
3) In the command window, type 'tracert xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx > C:\tracert.txt' (without the quotes) and press the Enter key.

A file will be created on your C: drive called tracert.txt that contains your trace route information. Please be patient when waiting for the tracert command to complete, it may take several minutes.

Please put in your actual game server's IP address (listed below) where it says "xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx". For example, if you were playing on the server "Arthas", you would type in "tracert 206.16.23.100 > C:\tracert.txt" in your command window.

tu não faz idéia da lentidão dessa coisa... leva uns 20 segundos pra carregar o fórum. a BRT aqui tá um cu. e a virtua ainda faltam detalhes.
